1. Who we are

Chahat Homes, trading as Chahat Homes, operates this website and is the data fiduciary for the personal data you share here. Our registered office is at 6th Floor, M3M Teepoint, South Block, Sector 65, Gurugram, Haryana 122101. 2. What we collect

We collect only what an enquiry needs: your name, phone number, email address, and anything you choose to write in the message field, along with the configuration, budget band or project you expressed interest in. Technical data is collected automatically — page URL, referrer, device type, a hashed form of your IP address, and UTM or click identifiers if you arrived from an advertisement. We do not collect government identity numbers, financial account details or payment information through this site.

3. Why we use it, and on what basis

Your details are used to respond to your enquiry, arrange site visits, coordinate home-loan sanction where you ask us to, and keep you informed about the specific projects you asked about. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we rely on the consent you give when submitting a form — the consent statement appears next to every submit button and is recorded with a version number and timestamp. Where you subscribe to our newsletter, that is a separate consent you can withdraw independently.

4. Who we share it with

We share your details with a developer only when you ask us to progress an enquiry on that developer's project, and with a lending partner only when you ask us to arrange loan sanction. We use service providers for email delivery and website hosting, who process data on our instructions alone. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with unrelated brokers, data brokers or advertising networks. We disclose data to authorities only where legally compelled.

5. Cookies and analytics

This site uses strictly necessary cookies to keep your session and protect forms against cross-site request forgery. Where analytics is enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation, loaded only after your first interaction or when the browser is idle, so it never blocks page rendering. Maps and video embeds load as click-to-activate facades, which means no third-party cookies are set until you deliberately activate them. You can block cookies in your browser without losing access to any content.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiry records are retained for three years from the last contact, so we can serve you if you return mid-search, after which they are deleted or irreversibly anonymised. Newsletter subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe. Aggregate analytics that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely.

7. Your rights

You may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to erase it, withdraw a consent you previously gave, or nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity. Write to care@chahathomes.com with "Data request" in the subject line; we respond within 30 days. If you are dissatisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

8. Security

Data is transmitted over TLS, passwords are stored only as salted hashes, IP addresses are stored hashed rather than raw, and access to enquiry records is restricted to advisors who need it. No system is perfectly secure; in the event of a personal data breach we will notify affected users and the Board as required by law.

9. Children

This site is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has submitted information, write to us and we will delete it.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The revision date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and material changes will be flagged on the site.
